The BFCC contest was all in good fun and the contestants enjoyed sharing their "Bad Meowmie" and "Bad Daddy" stories. This was my entry which earned one of Dusty's "(Dis)Honourable Mention awards:"
Most of the time, Pat is a very patient and considerate meowmie. But once, she did something very, very BAD to me. It happened on a lovely evening last summer. I was sitting on a high branch of a live oak tree, enjoying a refreshing breeze. It was so pleasant that I decided to spend the night outside. At sundown, I heard Pat call me several times. Her voice became more demanding when she realized where I was and that I intended to stay there. Finally, she said, "Dobbin, come down immediately. It's about to rain." Well, she couldn't fool me. There were no storm clouds and I hadn't heard any lightning. "Don't say I didn't warn you!" she exclaimed.
Then I realized that she was holding the garden hose. She pointed it above my head and adjusted the nozzle. Suddenly, it felt like it was raining. I ran down the tree as fast as I could, but not before I was completely drenched. That was bad enough, but it was humiliating to realize that she thinks I'd fall for a stupid trick like that! I wouldn't say that Pat is the baddest meowmie, but I'll let you be the judge.
Respectfully submitted,
Dobbin
